History: Established in 1979 on over 100 acres of the north half of Lot 15, Concession 1 NDS (North of Dundas Street). This land is part of the historic Niagara Escarpment and the cemetery encompasses part of the Bruce Trail, ensuring it will remain a beautiful part of a green belt for future generations to enjoy.
Note: This cemetery is identified on the map and some other web sites as "Halton Hills Memorial Gardens" but Halton Hills is in Esquesing Township and includes the old towns/villages of Acton, Georgetown, Glen Williams, Norval and Hornby. Transcriptions of this cemetery are available at our meetings, by mail from the Branch, or on-line by credit card from the O.G.S. web site.
