History: A simple Roman Catholic Church designed by Joseph Connolly and built in 1885. It was used by Holy Cross until 1965. It was later rededicated in 1966 to serve the French Catholics in Georgetown when the new Holy Cross church was built. This building was renamed L'Eglise Sacre-Coeur. Prior to 1885 Catholics attended St Patrick's but the congregation moved to this building after it was deemed in serious disrepair.
